Solid wood dining tables are prized for their naturally beautiful wood grain and varied natural colors. Since natural wood is a living, breathing organism, it's recommended to place it in an environment with suitable temperature and humidity. Avoid placing beverages, chemicals, or excessively hot objects on the surface to prevent damage to the wood's natural luster. For melamine board furniture, when heavily soiled, it's advisable to wipe it once with diluted neutral detergent and warm water, then wipe with clean water. Remember to wipe away any remaining water stains with a soft, dry cloth. After thoroughly cleaning, apply a polishing wax to enhance the shine. Only through regular cleaning and maintenance can wooden furniture maintain its pristine appearance.
Glass is fragile, so glass furniture is best placed in a relatively fixed location and avoided frequent movement. Handle items placed on the furniture with care to prevent damage to the glass surface. Avoid forceful collisions with frequently used glass dining tables or coffee tables; consider using a tablecloth to prevent scratches. When cleaning glass furniture at home, for general stains, a damp towel, newspaper, or toilet paper is sufficient. For stubborn stains, you can use a towel dampened with a little white wine, beer, or warm white vinegar. Never use strong acidic or alkaline liquids, as glass's main component is silicon dioxide, which is susceptible to corrosion from strong acids and alkalis. When cleaning patterned frosted glass, use a toothbrush dipped in a cleaning agent to gently scrub in circular motions following the pattern. Alternatively, you can apply a few drops of kerosene, chalk dust, and plaster powder mixed with water to the glass, let it dry, and then wipe it with a clean cloth or cotton. This method will leave the glass clean and bright.
