Kitchen cabinet maintenance refers to the upkeep and repair of kitchen cabinets, aiming to extend their lifespan and keep the kitchen clean and aesthetically pleasing. Daily maintenance involves wiping the cabinets dry after each use, using appropriate cleaning tools and methods depending on the materials of the doors, countertops, and cabinets. Avoid direct sunlight, impacts from heavy objects, scratches from sharp objects, direct contact with high temperatures, and chemical corrosion. Regularly inspect and maintain hardware such as hinges and drawer slides, and keep the kitchen well-ventilated and dry. Scientific cleaning and maintenance will keep the cabinets in good condition.

Kitchen cabinet maintenance should follow correct principles to extend their lifespan and maintain their good condition. It is recommended to wash and wipe the countertops and doors after each use of the kitchen, keeping them dry and avoiding water stains. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading and aging. Maintain good kitchen ventilation and avoid prolonged exposure of the cabinets to a humid environment. When using the cabinets, avoid impacts from heavy objects to the cabinet doors and drawers; open and close them gently, and avoid direct contact with the countertops and doors from sharp objects. When storing items, follow the principle of "light on top, heavy on bottom," placing heavy items in base cabinets and light items in wall cabinets. Regularly check the cabinet walls, hinges, drawer slides, and other hardware for damage, looseness, or unusual noises, and tighten, lubricate, or repair them promptly. It is recommended to add lubricating oil to hinges and drawer slides every 2-3 months.
