Rectangular Dining Table

760mm x 760mm square tables and 1070mm x 760mm rectangular tables are commonly used dining table sizes. If the chairs can be tucked under the table, even a small corner can accommodate a six-seat table; simply pull the table out slightly when needed.

A 760mm width is standard for a dining table, and it should not be less than 700mm; otherwise, people sitting opposite each other will bump their legs due to the narrowness of the table. Ideally, the table legs should be centered; placing them at the corners is inconvenient. The table height is generally 710mm, paired with chairs of 415mm height. A lower tabletop allows for a clearer view of the food while dining.
