Examine the appearance:

1. The glass used in a glass dining table must be tempered glass. Tempered glass is several times stronger than ordinary glass, with a bending strength 3-5 times greater and impact resistance 5-10 times greater. Tempered glass breaks into small, blunt fragments, ensuring its safety.

2. The smoothness, transparency, and evenness of the surface also reflect the quality of the glass. Place a piece of white paper with writing on it on the bottom; visually inspect the writing to determine its transparency. Run your hand across the surface; it should feel smooth and free of noticeable resistance. This indicates flawless glass.

Sturdiness:

1. For tables with steel and wood frames or supports, ensure there are no loose welds, incomplete welds, or cracks. Screws and rivets should be secure, and the steel frame should be firmly connected to the solid wood legs. Pay special attention to the materials and assembly methods of dining chairs, especially since they are used frequently. Generally, traditional mortise and tenon joints are more robust.

2. Dining chairs with frames made of elm, beech, or other similar woods are more sturdy and durable. This is an important point to consider when choosing a glass dining table to ensure its durability.

Human-centered design:

Attention should also be paid to human-centered details. The tabletop edges should be straight, smooth, and free of blunt corners. The glass table surface should be free of scratches and chips. If needed, options such as table combinations, turntables, and storage space can be considered.

Size standards:
1. Industry standards stipulate that the height of a dining table is 680mm-760mm, the seat height of a dining chair is 400mm-440mm, the seat height of a soft-sided chair is 400mm-460mm, and the inner width of the armrest of an armchair should be greater than or equal to 460mm.

2. Use a steel tape measure or ruler with an error of no more than ±0.6mm per meter to measure the sample placed on a test plate or flat surface. These standards can serve as a reference when purchasing a glass dining table.
